I have a Vaillant ecotec plus boiler in the flat I moved into.
When the radiators are on, every 5 or so minutes the sound from the radiators will abruptly stop for 4-5 seconds and then come back on again. The boiler also makes a click sound during this 4-5 second interval.
I want to know if it is normal for a Vaillant boiler to do this. The heating works fine, its just the noise going off and then back on again that’s annoying.

Hi Jack,
The sounds you are describing sound normal for most older boiler system setups. These noises occur more frequently when the stat kicks in and the boiler is heating the water.
